Welding
For track-switching equipment incorporated to continuous welded track, JEZ uses the spot welding method for the frog-track joint.
This technique avoids the use of joining flanges and provides specific benefits of reliability and safety and contributes to the “zero track maintenance concept”, smoothness, comfort, quietness, etc.
Said process is carried out in the CATV (Leading Edge Track System Technologies Facility) reporting to RENFE. It is one of the few facilities worldwide technically prepared to carry out this type of weld.
